5th Annual AOSS Art in Weather (and Science) Photo Contest

The winners for the 5th Annual AOSS Art in Weather (and Science) Photo Contest were announced on Friday at a reception for this year’s contest. The exhibit showcases forty photographs from twenty participants. Each weather-related photograph demonstrates merit in both technical skill and artistic composition.

2nd - “Sand storm in Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park - Utah/Arizona - Aug 26 2014” by Paolo Veglio
3rd - “Ice formations and pancake ice on the shore of Lake Michigan. Cave Point, Door County, Wisconsin” by Grant Petty
Honorable mention - “The ropeout of a strong tornado. Sanford, Kansas” by Alex Goldstein
Honorable mention - “Frost on garage window” by Hank Revercomb
