Summer 2019: What You Need to Know

Access to collections:
  • Math and Physics Libraries will be closed to patrons, but collections will remain requestable as work allows. Staff will retrieve requests for patrons, as well as for inter-library loans.
  • Social Science collections are already in the process of being accessioned in their new permanent locations. No materials remain in the Social Science Reference Library.

Course reserves: The Astronomy Library, which is typically closed during summers, will remain open for summer 2019 to provide hold shelf and course reserves services. Reserves users from Social Science have been directed to College Library’s reserves service.

Contacting library staff:
  • Patrons contacting Social Science will be redirected to the Social Work Library.
  • Patrons contacting Physics (summer and fall) and Math (summer only) will be redirected to the Astronomy Library.
